Africa's Blood Diamonds
Diamonds are like any other stones out there but with a bit of twist. These are considered to be one of the most best-selling and buying stones (legally and illegally) all over the world. You see, these are not just regular stones. Diamonds are stones that will never break in any natural disaster. Yes! You are right. Diamonds are the hardest stones in the world. It's even harder than a T-Rex's head.
Anyway, back to the topic. "Africa's Blood Diamonds" is a documentary covered by National Geographic. It's point was to let the people know how important and how interesting these stones are. In Africa, diamond is like a ferrari to them. What do I mean by that? It's simple really. When we talk about fancy cars, ferrari is the first car that would pop up in our minds. It's so popular that most of the people in the world would do anything to afford it. This is like the thing that most of the Africans think when they talk about diamonds. They want it so badly that they would do anything to get the stones in their hands. A war actually occured just to find these precious stones.
Nowadays, Africans are still on the hunt to find these stones. It's become an obsession to the country that they chose this as their primary living. I myself won't interfere in their doing. It's their "way of life" so I respect that but at least the people there should know that there are hundreds of jobs out there waiting for them rather than going underwater or digging lots of Earth just to find a small stone.
Oh and one more thing, diamonds are merely just stones in the end.
